Review on CIPA 33000 12 Day Night by Olajuwon Achille

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought the widest mirror I could find. That's it. Money is no object when it comes to avoiding collisions.

This is a must for almost every application. If your old one just fell off, you'll need a good single-edged razor blade scraper and maybe some brake parts cleaner (that's nasty). Completely clean. Critically indescribable. The mirror comes with a metal disc that needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Read the instructions. Cutting off corners means you will be buying a new set of glue. and take the blame for not doing it right. Plastic washers will not serve you well, if at all. If there's dust on the blister pack of your chosen glue kit, it's probably over the hill. It should also smell fresh off the press. Six months on an adhesive set is the limit. Walmart has a massive turnover and is a good place to look for a glue kit. Freshness is crucial for this type of glue. Also, take the time to thoroughly clean the new washer that came with the mirror. If you didn't follow the directions exactly, you'll need to soak the metal disk overnight in a sealed bottle with at least 4 ounces of acetone or methyl ethyl ketone to remove the precipitated adhesive, and then scrub it with a small, metal-bristle brush. That and the window should be pure NASA space travel. If you touched a glass or metal surface, start cleaning again.
