I tried another adjustable kneeler and had to return it due to the poor design and the awkward metal dent that hit your wrist. I researched carefully and chose this model because of the large surface area, the faux leather desk top, the ability to recline and the wide legs. It's everything I hoped for. The stop that keeps the laptop from sliding definitely stands out, but for the most part it doesn't bother me (although I think it should be flatter/lower and softer to improve wrist comfort in the redesign. This was my problem with 99% of these tables for knees.) BUT one of the biggest advantages is, that this plug can be removed, which is not the case with many others. I work without it most of the time, and the faux leather surface has enough grip to hold the Macbook Air in place unless you tip it around the first corner. (I work on the couch so I'm not too concerned about slipping, but be careful anyway, I use a stopper when I really need to make sure it doesn't slip.) Overall it was excellent.
