These stereo to mono conversion in-ears are great value for money. As other reviewers have noted, you'll notice significant acoustic coupling with the noise of the cable. For example, if you hit the cord near your ear, you will definitely hear it. This is largely due to the fact that making a durable earphone requires a good mechanical attachment of the cable to the earphone body. Due to this good fit, mechanical vibrations of the cable are also transmitted to the body of the listener. There just isn't enough room in the earbud to sufficiently isolate the speaker driver from the outer aluminum casing to break the path of vibration. If you're listening to music and don't need a microphone, I recommend wrapping the cord around your neck to avoid hitting the cord and hearing that noise. Another feature of this headphone is that for the best sound you need to use the right size rubber cap and fit it snugly in your ear canal. The headphones are available in three different sizes. If you can't get tight, the sound gets very tinny. When properly installed, this earphone has a comfortable bass response; surprisingly good for an earphone. For the price, these headphones are a good choice if you understand their limitations.
