Fake Terrarium Artificial Plastic Plants

As a mom and teacher I was looking for some educational items for my 3 year old to do over the summer holidays. I really wanted to do a terrarium with her this summer. She saw this one and really wanted it, so we ordered it. Very disappointed that this is not a real terrarium. Maybe I should have read the description more carefully. I would return it but by the time I realized the plants were plastic my daughter had already opened everything and started tossing them in a bin. I am so disappointed that there is no educational aspect to this. There are no plant life cycles or plants to care for. It's just a plastic can that gets forgotten because there's nothing to do with it except leave it there. Since we bought it we don't have the money to buy her a real terrarium with real plants to take care of. So be careful buyers, read the description and know that everything is plastic, no real plants to take care of.
