Mono 14 black - my new review

I have a big head, 60 cm so I got the 14 inches. With "JONATHAN PAUL FITOVERS” I really can not take them off to hang around my neck without taking my glasses off, there isn’t enough clearance to do this easily, so I don’t use them that way. They are either on or off.Even with a 60 cm, hat size the 14 inch is just slightly to long, I can not totally snug them up tight, about 3 mm or so is needed but the slides bottom out hitting the ends pieces. You may or not have this problem it may vary how long the temple arms are by your ear, the shape. The Jonathan’s stick straight back, rather long.I wished I had just gotten the 12 inch, the slide tube pieces add 2 inches to the length. They do work, just would like that tighter feeling. The Jonathan’s come with holes at the end of the temple for a special snap in cord, but the plastic hurts, this strap doesn’t hurt at all, I don’t notice it at all.To the people who complain it hits your hoodie, why does anyone wear this kind of straps with the cable pulled out far? Reminds me of people who wear their caps on backwards, just get you a beanie, no brim, with a propeller on top and be done with it, and it certainly is not a good look on anyone out of their teens. My sunglasses are either on, strap tighten, if the strap is loose the sunglasses are off my face. I have the strap for fishing, bending over, especially when it’s hot and sunglasses like to slide picking up after the two doggies, etc, just walking around.I do think they are a bit over priced, $7.00 would seem more like it.

Pros
  • Chosen by my teenager for his Dad. Was a hit works great and good style. Used for boating.
Cons
  • Could potentially damage delicate frames
