I have been a wet razor for many years and have been seeing these coasters for just as long. For some reason I never got it until I recently changed my mind and took it. This stand is small and light. This saves counter or shelf space. The bowl fits my Williams soap washing machine perfectly, but for the first use I wanted to use the gel and fluff it up. It worked fine. The brush is soft right out of the box and quickly whips the gel into a nice lather. There are also 2 razor storage holes on the back. The only downside to this mug (metal) is that the foam cools down much quicker than the heavier ceramic mug/mug. I don't mind. Overall I'm happy with this setup.
