My daughter loves basic colors when it comes to clothing. Kangaroo bag and jacket so this is the perfect piece for her. A brightly colored stand-up collar - red in this case, as I'm wearing a black sweater - is a lot of fun and can help when the wind picks up. The ribbed cuffs are a little bulky and if your child tries to roll up their sleeves it will be difficult. There is no logo on the outside of this zip-up sweatshirt. I wash with original Tide powder in cold water, add fragrance enhancer and tumble dry low/medium. I didn't notice the shirt shrinking or having any issues with fading or setting other colors. The shirt has really great seams and no problems so far.
