Review on 🔌 KINGDO Surface Pro Charger - 48W 12V 3.6A Power Supply Adapter for Microsoft Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 1, and Surface RT with 6Ft Power Cord and Carrying Pouch by Lequon Kaneshiro

I ordered this in February 2020 and have used it probably dozens of times in the last year with no problems. A 5 star product for the price. If it simply breaks down or no longer works after a year, that would be annoying, but not unforgivable in terms of price. Unfortunately, it went out of service with a bang. I was charging my SP2 on the floor in the other corner of the room and suddenly I heard a crack. I looked around and saw smoke rising from the charging box and was able to drive over and turn it off within seconds. I was a bit concerned with the idea of what might happen when I'm in another room or worse when I'm sleeping or leaving the house (both scenarios I've left my SP2 charged in the past). On a positive note, my tablet was surprisingly unaffected by this incident. However, I'm not sure what I'm going to do from here. The original charger from Microsoft has long been discontinued and cost 4-5 times more than when it was on sale. SUMMARY: BE CAREFUL WITH THIS CHARGER AND KEEP AWAY FROM CARPETS AND FLAMMABLE MATERIALS AS POSSIBLE.
