Pleasantly surprised.

We bought this to discourage the toddler from going into the cat box area near the back door. Surprisingly, it’s held up well, even with him pushing and trying to get by. It looks nice as well! It comes with two feet, but you can upgrade if you feel it’s necessary - the two feet it came with ended up being plenty for us. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it arrived missing a pin for one of the hinges, which made the door hang off of one hinge and difficult to operate. We had to fix it ourselves because repackaging and sending back was too much of a hassle.

Pros

With a width of 80 inches, this dog gate is perfect for large areas and provides pets with plenty of room to move around and stay comfortable

Cons

It is not suitable for use with cats or other small animals, who can easily slip through the bars

Before I was using baby gates, but with those you typically always need to screw them into the wall which I dislike doing. With these, it''s freestanding and stays upright with the stands they provide. Finish looks and feels great and it matches with my walls. I like the little door that you can open and close as well, with a nice latch. Overall, it''s been a great purchase!
