I received my USB-C to DisplayPort adapter from CableCreation today and was able to connect it to my 15" HP Envy x360 (which only has a USB-C Thunderbolt connector). From there I was able to use a DisplayPort cable and connect the CableCreation to the DisplayPort adapter on my BenQ XL2411 (24") monitor and get 144Hz (144, something like Hz was the exact number according to my Windows As a result, I can display 144Hz at 1920x1080 (the recommended resolution on my Windows laptop) and stretched 1280x960 (the resolution I use when playing CSGO) on my BenQ monitor via a DisplayPort connection. I ended up bringing it back as I had bought a new USB-C hub (12-in-1 USB-C level hub) which already had DisplayPort which similarly supported the 144Hz which I wanted on my BenQ monitor however it worked fine and I hope this helps.
