Lightning glides smoothly without snagging. The two device compartments offer space for two thin laptops (e.g. a MacBook). or laptop and tablet device. It is ideal for older and thicker laptops. If your laptop comes with an optical drive, you may have trouble putting it in your bag. I can fit a 16-inch MacBook Pro and a 15.6-inch Acer Aspire e5 series laptop in my bag. I would have liked a little more padding around the electronics bays, but the padding adds bulk, so I get it. The front compartment offers space for business cards, pens and other essentials. Pocket for RFID-sensitive documents like a passport Magnetic quick-access pocket doesn't seem very useful to me My keys are bulky I think I have too many cars I carry a traditional wallet, so it's too thick for the compartment Pocket is big enough to handling them with big phones, so that's my most likely use for it. The magnet does not cover the bag, so small loose items can fall out if your bag tips over. As others have pointed out, there isn't much room for documents. I think it's a sign of the times that we are all moving towards a paperless lifestyle. I bought this to replace a 25 year old Targus laptop case when Targus made quality cases. I paid over $200 for a Targus bag in 1996, so the price doesn't seem too bad to me. There are many inexpensive laptop bags. Revain Basics is surprisingly good for what it is. I distribute them regularly to people in my organization. However, a good bag lasts for decades. I assume this Travelpro bag will be the last bag I have to buy. As a bonus, the espresso brown makes the bag stand out from the endless sea of black bags while remaining professional.
