Review on COVERGIRL Clean Matte Pressed Powder - Oil Control Face Powder for Shine-Free, Matte Finish by Ashley Long

The product is good. Bad product design.

I've been using Covergirl Clean Matte Pressed Powder for many years, mainly because it's my favorite mattifier (do I really need the word matte? Think (do they even make it bigger?), and it's second best. I like Powders that are almost imperceptible - that have NO discernible color, NO "layer" feel on my face, just take the shine out for a long time It does it for a decent price However, here's my first world claim: I Me hate the occasion when he comes in! oh this blue and blue thick flexible plastic clam bugs me to no end! On one hand it's BIG it's a goddamn hockey puck and takes up a lot of room in my makeup bag compared to thinner compact pucks. And why does it have to be so big? Doesn't look like there's a secret compartment behind the mirror filled with diamonds or gold doubloons or high-quality Vancouver weed. OR IS THERE? (*going to check* ) N a no. All that plastic is a waste of space. Also, the Compact's closure is so flimsy that it never really feels closed. A tiny silver pin that goes through a drilled hole in each half is your main pin-to-hole connection. The problem is that the little silver pin is FLEXIBLE - the connection is not tight and there is no solid shoulder or ball bearing at the pin's exit points, and the pin wobbles, shifts and often slips, causing the shell halves to partially separate. or at all. Well, in case you haven't noticed, I'm a detail-oriented person and now I know I need to keep an eye on that tiny silver pen and when I see it coming out of the sink I use tweezers to to put it back in place. But buyers of compact Cover Girl models who are thinking of more important things, like global warming or their children, may not understand these points and end up with a separate clamshell and the little pin is likely lost altogether. What if exciting movie life instead of boring real life created the perfect opportunity for Hannibal Lecter to find her and hide her behind his cheek while he patiently awaited the moment when all the maximum security officers were in jail turn your back on them? use the pen to pick your cell's lock and escape again, devouring human faces on your way like the cannibal that he is! OUUUU! If these faces used Cover Girl Clean Matte Pressed Powder, they wouldn't shine to the bitter end. :)
