I live in a somewhat hurricane-prone area (Wilmington, NC - Hurricane Florence and Tropical Storm Michael visited this year) and have ten 5-6 gallon cans of these Stabil- Ethanol gas on hand and plugged into my generator, which if used properly will last ten days without power. Year-round I use the accumulated gasoline in my car, boat, lawn mower and pressure washer. All of this spillage creates spills and the risk of contamination. Now I use this Terapump and MrFilter to fill everything. No more spills. No more damaged asphalt. No more waste. There is no risk of fuel contamination from dirty outer surfaces of the tank. There is no longer a risk of fire or explosion when refueling the generator. The pump works great. In order to relieve the small engine, I always raise the petrol tank as far as I feel comfortable. I use a step stool that brings the bottom of the canister up to the level of the generator, car, and boat gas tanks. This allows gravity to do most of the work and should result in longer trouble free pump and accumulator life.
