Inexpensive way to brighten up a room

This is a cool little two pack at a great price. "Light as a bonus - a nice touch. Firstly, you get flexible light and disco light together (packaged separately but bundled together). You also get the USB adapters pictured, USBA to Micro, to C and to iPhone. They were, however pictured I thought it was just implying you could use them to connect to your phone but they actually offer them which is nice however if you look the flashlight's USB port doesn't fit all the way in none of the adapters. It doesn't affect how it works at all, it works well but feels like it could be done a little better. The quality is about what you'd expect with few uses. The flexible Light is about 8" long and bends and moves as expected. It makes aiming easier. change the output as shown in the picture. It's basically a kaleidoscope I really like it and it's perfect for my needs. What I would have liked better is that the tip spins freely, too freely. It doesn't have any tactile clicks or pulls so you can very easily pick it up and change the setting you want. Something I wanted but wasn't expecting from a $9 item is a spectrum changing effect. If it could gradually switch from smallest to largest variance and back again that would be great. If they could add different colors of LEDs that would be perfect. But then again, for less than ten dollars I didn't expect the world. Which brings me to the disco ball. The disco ball does just that. It has some sort of tiny controller that flashes LEDs that create different bursts of color and light under a disco prism. Depending on what you are looking for, you will get this option. Want crazy flashing lights for your party? Yes it does. Would you like a subtle lighting atmosphere? Use flexible light. Again, the biggest issue for me was that the flexible light is a red light with no other options. It's good, but for atmosphere I'd prefer blue or green (didn't see those options though).
