I should have checked the rating and read the comments before buying, but alas. That they've been able to sell Wi-Fi hardware that drops the 5GHz network four times a day (and has been doing so since 2022+) is mind-boggling to me (and does not connect back, it only helped to connect to the Internet back to 2.4GHz) the benefits: It is + - stable in the 2.4GHz channel. It seems like a normal rate of travel. Throughout the past two years, I've relied on this adaptor. In the 2.4GHz band only. The downside is that there are occasional outages in the connection. 5GHz issues occur frequently. Every fourth time, it works. I used the vanishing network for about two years, and throughout that time I spent roughly seven days (!) dancing around it with tambourines. That is, until I stumbled onto this page by chance and learned that others also experience connectivity issues. I committed sins against Windows, the router, the Wi-Fi channels (I wrongly assumed that the neighbors were interfering), the settings I foolishly chose not to change, and the service provider (before realizing that my other devices normally devour the Internet on 5GHz without dropping connections anywhere). So, to make sure it wasn't me, I went out and got the following model from the same company that received generally positive ratings.
