That's interesting. The material is NOT soft. It feels like a canvas. The colors are not as bright as in the photo. However, when I put in very old cushions of the same size, they looked amazing on the leather and fabric sofas. This is the perfect upgrade if you're looking for a modern update. I recommend them for visual purposes, not as a pillow to rest on. I was disappointed when they arrived but after compliments from friends I completely changed my mind. Especially given the price, I doubt you'll be disappointed. I recommend it. Keep in mind they come unfilled so you'll have to stuff them into old pillows or buy stuffing. Be careful with lightning. They work great and look good, but if you press too hard they're likely to break easily.
