Review on πŸ’‘ SYLVANIA H13 XtraVision Halogen Headlight Bulb - Superior Illumination and Clarity (Includes 1 Bulb) by Roberto Tucker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good: Bulbs

These headlights are significantly brighter than the stock headlights on my 2004 Honda Odyssey EXL-RES. I drove a van the night I installed them and they illuminate objects much better up close. They also project about 30 feet further down the road than standard headlights. Also, the dispersion of the pattern is slightly better, so I can see a little more of the roadside while driving. These headlights also blur less when it's raining, but still blur quite a bit. (When it rains, it looks like you haven't turned on your headlights, even if you have them. Many headlights of this type suffer from this.) Now that I like incandescent bulbs, my biggest concern is lifespan. The lamps that came in the van are rated for 2400 hours but these Xtra Vision lamps are only rated for 850 hours. You can therefore count on a lamp usage of 2-3 years. The lamp lasts 2400 hours, it does not maintain maximum brightness during this time. Many headlight bulbs start to dim after a few years. The purchase is worthwhile. Just always keep an extra pair in your glove box in case one of the bulbs burns out. Buying a second set is cheaper than buying a ticket.
