After cleaning the canopy the tape was still peeling off

I have cleaned my awning with 303 Vinyl Cleaner. Within 2 weeks the edge of the tape began to curl and within 2 months it was curling over the entire 20 foot canopy. I had high hopes for this solution, but it fell short. I think I'll buy a new tent. Sigh.
