well I literally got them a few hours ago and wanted to install them on my mountain bikes and although the first one was fine I dropped the second one let go while I was around to install it and it broke immediately. The fall was from the center waist about 38" which caused the bottom end to break and this is the part that prevents that the bottom of the bottle slides out all the way I bought these because they are made in the USA however they don't seem very strong and durable compared to many other brands on offer and I need a sturdy bottle cage while riding.
