Use them for devices with hard-to-reach ports.
I like devices where the network connector is difficult to access. Also great for devices where you need to keep water out such as B. outdoor cameras or WLAN hotspots. You can seal one of them on the device and protect the connector from water ingress. Seal the other end in a NEMA enclosure or through a wall and you won't have to fiddle with the device connector when you're standing on the stairs. Also suitable for devices that you move frequently to avoid wear or breakage of the device connector.
