We bought these as a swim rashguard. I bought the medium ones for my tall 4 year old and they fit well except they are more hipster than waist sized and therefore need to be worn all the time to avoid showing too much buttocks. The lack of waist height is not mentioned in the description or on the product photos as all models are wearing shirts.
