Once setup, this is large for 2 adults and comfortable. If there is any significant wind at the beach, this will NOT stay in place with the 4 skinny tent stakes provided. It is not enough to hold it down in the sand. They will need to be replace with much longer stakes. It would be fine on firmer ground such as a lawn.The 2 tent poles are easy to install in the sleeve. It helps to have 2 people set it up. Taking is down is a pain in the a**. The tent poles can not be pulled out because they will come apart. They have to be pushed through the sleeves. The carrying case is nice. I am ok with this at the beach, just be sure to put heavy objects in it to hold it down in the wind when you get out of it.
