Review on πŸŽ’ Givi EA100B Easy Range Saddlebags - Pair: 40L Capacity for Convenient Travel by Jeff Driscoll

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Huge accessory capacity

Pros: I was able to pack 1 tent, 2 sleeping bags, 2 flip flops, a tire inflator, a range of tools and an assortment of other camping items and that's it. One of the bags was about that half of the available space. And all without expanding the bag. Looks a lot prettier. Very light weight. Cons: Using the included tie-down straps, I attached the bags to the $375 EVO side pillar frames I had installed on my Ducati Multistrada. Probably too much for these bags. When attaching the bags, the plastic loop of the buckle came off cleanly. Then, after about an hour of driving, two cables completely detached due to the heat. I would say the cords are about 12 inches from the hoop(?). So at this point I didn't have anything to attach the bags to the frame and the bags were hanging in the air, slightly supported by the frame. I drove another 600 miles and had no major problems. My girlfriend told me that the bag would hover and take off at over 150 km/h and there was also a strong cross wind at the time. Although it only happened once.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say
