It doesn't hurt my gums. Use Fixodent powder to fix them.
They form a soft cushion. I pour some Fixodent powder on the plate and then a moistened filling for a prosthesis. After wearing it for a few hours, this time I apply more fixodent to the upper palate. They often last longer than w days. The denture sealant can be removed, soaked, brushed and reused as described. I have two full dentures so no teeth to hold the two plates and they make a big improvement. The base plate does not hold as well due to the smaller surface, but it is much better than if you only use Polygrip or others.
