Who would've guessed sleeping under a quilt of thin bean bags would make such a difference? I have had sleep issues since I was 12. Nothing ever helps much or for long. I was afraid to try this blanket in the summer, but it doesn't make me sleep too hot. It DOES help me sleep, though! It's not so heavy that I CAN'T still toss and turn, it's just comfortably weighted to the point I DON'T toss & turn nearly as much. The only time I ever had an issue with the weight of the blanket was the first time I actually slept in until my alarm went off. This so rarely happens that the sound startled me mid dream cycle and I awkwardly tossed the blanket in such a way that a weighted edge smacked me hard in the face and left a subtle mark. It should have been a terrible way to wake up, but the fact that I needed to BE woken up & hadn't just been fake sleeping all night put a huge smile on my face. If anxiety is a partial cause of your poor sleep, please give this blanket a try. It feels exactly like being gently held down by a layer of children's bean bags which should be weird but somehow isn't. It's like you laid down, let some playful kids cover you in a layer of bean bags, and you pretended it was too heavy and you couldn't get up (just to make them giggle,) but then while you're smiling and pretending you realize you're REALLY comfortable and the kids disappear and then you're asleep. For several consecutive hours. Awesome.
