Excellent box. I mounted directly to the stud with the screws provided, but I like the old job option too. Haven't seen it with drywall or anything, but it's a pretty clean and attractive box. I needed them to run my entertainment equipment through the wall to another TV and so far I'm very happy. One problem I had was installing outlets or panels to connect media. The screws that attach to the socket were too long. This is a standard Decora socket that I bought from Lowe's. You can imagine that this box would be compatible with such a common device. I used some shorter screws from other wall panels that I won't be using. For this reason I am deducting a star. Overall, this box is easy to install and is great for running cords in the wall, as well as keeping your plugs out of the wall and out of the way.
