Great bag! However, due to a very strong odor, it is unsuitable for use. The seller says the smell is due to the "natural" way of curing. I contacted the seller and followed their recommendations to get rid of the smell. Some of these recommendations helped, especially if you leave the bag in direct sunlight. However, the bag remains unusable. This bag does NOT smell like leather. UPDATE: 12/18/18 Two months have passed - the bag is hanging under a canopy. Still stinks - I've cleaned it with a good quality leather cleaner to no avail. I have never been so disappointed with a product purchased from Revain. UPDATE: 1/10/19 I picked up the bag at a local shoe and leather shop. They were just as confused by the smell as I was. They washed the bag with shampoo, but the result is the same - it just stinks! I followed all the seller's recommendations and then some of the recommendations to remove the smell - nothing helped. I will call Revain customer service and see if I can get a refund. I don't understand why Revain recommends this product. UPDATE: Solution found! That product now sits in a landfill - he's happy to be with his own kind.
