I'm so glad I found them! I saw they were sold individually elsewhere and was shocked at the price. Every time I went to the local craft store everything was sold out. I was glad I found them here - and the price was fantastic! Each ribbon is a good weight and feels solid, ideal for mixed media creations, altered art and/or embellishments. They're not thin aluminum. The words are etched quite deeply. Although the letters are black, you can easily change them up with some acrylic paint. There are many different mediums to change the color of the metal if you so desire. They can be used in so many different ways for so many things. I love that they have loops on each end - one end for hanging and one end for beads. This is something I will definitely order again. Heaven!
