The slider works very well when placed on a flat surface. I love how easy it is to level with the legs. When mounted on a tripod, my DSLR and the 3-position fluid head tilt arm get a bit heavy and can easily tilt when moved from side to side. If you're buying this for your phone or compact camera, it shouldn't be a problem. I have stabilizing arms to stabilize the slider on the tripod. The pocket it was in had a hole in it. The bag was kindly replaced by Neewer with no problems so the service from Neewer is excellent.
