Great looks, slow connection

I bought this cable to connect phone to car for android auto. I had no issues with my previous Insignia cable, I just wanted a different color so I could see the cable against my black interior. This cable rightfully slowed down all communications. Everything was late from GPS to voice to skipping songs which is really dangerous. I had to send it back.
