Review on πŸ§› Elvira Coffin Centerpiece - 3-Dimensional Halloween Decoration by Beistle by Amy Ward

So cardboard. Don't be fooled

Cheated on me! It's actually cardboard. Nowhere in the item description was this mentioned and I think it's because people don't want it to be just cardboard. Almost nine dollars for a piece of cardboard that needs to be folded to make a coffin. I am so disappointed. What you should know before you buy is that you will only receive a piece of cardboard. The artwork looks nice, but from the pictures and the way it is described, I was expecting to see one of those detailed hard plastic pieces that you might find at Walmart's Dollar Tree and Dollar General, something like this. A sturdy, one-piece, hinged item that opens like a small treasure chest or something. That's why I got them because my mum is an Elvira fan and she loves these little chests. If you go into it and know it's a cardboard cutout that needs to be folded up, so they say it requires a bit of assembly, and still feel like it's worth the price, then that's cool. This is something I wasn't expecting and I have a feeling that part was left out in order to sell more. If you really didn't have that intention, oh I hope you read this review and rewrite your description. I would give three stars if I knew beforehand that it was cardboard and that I was interested in cardboard. Maybe even four stars if the price were a bit lower given that fact. But as it stands now, tickets are for the stars, as the artwork looks beautiful, but the assembled product isn't as smooth as the photoshopped image in the image. Remember this is cardboard that you will fold to make the center piece. The image appears to have been photoshopped to make the final product look smooth, but it isn't. 2 stars because I feel like the description deliberately omits that it's cardboard.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
