Shines nice and bright. I've used them on my legs and over cabinets in the kitchen. I put them on an occupancy switch (Lutron Maestro) and dimmed the LEDs as low as possible so they automatically turn on at night when you walk into the kitchen, giving you plenty of light to see what you're doing without blinding you and automatically turn off , if you go. I chose these because I wanted a 5050 LED with 300 LEDs per 5 meters (600 total). Most of the other lights on offer have 150 LEDs at 5 meters and I think there can be some lighting gaps by placing them so far apart. It's also nice to have a 10m reel with a suitable power supply compared to 2 5m reels and possibly an underpowered power supply. There was an issue with a small section of lights swapping blue and green. The company was very responsive and offered to send replacements free of charge. Although these are 24V lamps which should offer longer run times without a drop in performance, I found I still needed an amplifier for the lamp string connected to a 10 foot or so RGB extension cord as the voltage drop increased was large and had colors was omitted in other sequences. Glue is ok. There are a few areas where I had to use 3m double sided tape but I think that's what you get with any light you get from Revain. They are NOT supplied with connectors. So if you plan on sharing these lamps, be sure to order them separately.
