I have two ratings for this item: If you are buying this to wear it as is, don't. It won't fall over the shoulders and the hood won't cover the head. This is a very cheap design. One star for wearing as is. If you are buying this to use the material in making your own cape this is perfect. The material is durable, great colors match the picture and since I bought it for exactly that purpose, I'm thrilled. It doesn't smell like cheap materials. It should probably be hand washed and allowed to dry to retain its beautiful texture. Because the original piece is not shaped in any way, there are no darts or seams to remove (except for the "hood") or nicks in the fabric rectangle to work around. Darts can be added to the "hood" to make it more functional, although it won't be deep. Five stars for your future project and happy sewing!
