We bought a 3ft high gate. Looks nice but a little thin. They tighten each bar between sections, but it doesn't hold in place very well, even with both ends secured. The gate latch is unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing, but it's kind of a pain. I don't know how else to describe it. Beware if you have a large dog sticking his head through a small pet door. Your collar may get caught in the locking loop. If they panic and try to break free, all the gates will flex (at the joints from not holding them in the shape they're set in) and go with them. After the small pet door is closed, it fits our 40# dog, but for the price, I wish the quality was a bit better.
