I ordered the 'Trooper A' helmet in PVC for my 12 year old son, and we weren't disappointed. It fits him well, the construction is solid, and the PVC seems to have some strength to it. It's not bulky, but it does have some heft to it and won't deform from gentle pressure. I wouldn't try pushing too hard, its still just thin PVC, but it's not soft like the latex or other plastic replicas you see. Does have a chemical smell so we're letting it air out. Surface seems like it will take paint well for customization. Very glad we took a chance on this.Edited to add: chemical smell is gone. It fits my head (7.5 hat size) but watch the edges going over the ears, it's a snug fit and the plastic is sharp.
