Review on TAVR 4 Tiers Component Adjustable TW1004 by Louis Nakashima

Cannot hide cable as described

The instructions say only a Phillips head screwdriver is required. In step 1 you need to thread the long steel rods into the top shelf. Well, the bars wouldn't screw all the way in without using pliers to fully seat the bars. The rest of the assembly went smoothly and took less than an hour. One of the support tubes had small chips in the paint that I was able to hide by turning it over. I was happy with the end result until I routed the HDMI cable and power cord from the TV through the support tube. There are plastic flanges between each section of pipe, and the center holes of the flanges are only about 1/2 inch wide. It is not enough that the cable plugs fit. Velcro straps are included to allow wiring to be attached to the back. What's the point of having holes for wiring if the wiring can't get through? I installed a 32" TV and it seems stable. I would not mount a TV larger than 48 inches on this stand as the base frame is only held in place by two small screws.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Is there anything I can add
