Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Gelindo Tactical Hydration Backpack: Lightweight 2L Water Bladder for Hunting, Hiking, Camping & Cycling by John Koch

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One star shy. for outdoor recreation

Let's start with the positives, I like the bag itself. It has an insulated sleeve for your hydrator so your water stays COLD, it's a nice brown color, it's small, light weight, it has molle attachments (if you like it), it has a sternum clip (my favorite feature), it makes a big difference Now the negatives and the biggest negative they are negative which took one star off my rating. The pack itself is for hydration. Absolutely rubbish. First, it has no check valve. So when I was about to connect the house to the bag itself and didn't fasten it securely, oh my god the water started leaking and the whole inside of the bag -_- I took the bag out and luckily I had another package (a tried and true tidbit), I put it in and left. My water was cold all day, even the next day. Also, the original hydration pack itself has a giant screw cap, and if you want to drain the water, you can't quite do it because of that screw cap. It's a pain and I don't have time for all of that. If this is your first camel pack the bag itself is a great investment but be prepared to buy a new hydration pack. The "backpack" itself is not very big. . But the outer Carrie compartment is just what I need when running around town with two young children. And lately I use this backpack for traveling. Explanation: hairspray, flat iron, body spray, brushes. Basically everything is long and thin. Which leaves more room in my travel bag. Win. Mine also came with a US patch which some customers said they didn't have, which is a shame because I ripped mine off and replaced it with a patch featuring the State of Cali tactical flag instead.
