I bought these for very fragile and fragile wine glasses. I didn't understand how the brush head could be so hard and made out of foam. I was never able to fully clean the glass, although I was able to easily clean the bottom of the glass. The brush doesn't leave fingerprints or streaks unless you rub it aggressively, and even then it doesn't remove everything. I had to douse the brush with tons of soap to try and moderately clean the glass and if I rubbed too hard (need to remove the stain) I was afraid I would break the glass. I was spending way too much time and soap on what was basically a crushed head of foam on a stick that squeaks and doesn't clean well. I've only had it a few months and have only used warm water and soap and also hung it out to dry each time and it's already rusted and moldy. I'm disappointed. This is probably good for stronger and thicker glasses, but not for fragile stemmed glasses. Mold and rust are also a disadvantage.
