When I took them out of the box I was shocked at how tough they were. When I put them on my shoes I was afraid that they might break. Not so - they held the shoes very well. I was very skeptical of the negative reviews complaining about falling off. I didn't understand how something that kept the shoe SO COOL could fall off. Well, both pears eventually fell out of my shoes on the very first walk I put them on. The negative reports of her fall are credible. The only thing I can think of is that the impact vibrations are enough to gradually push the headlights apart until they pop out. I walk 5 miles. I don't know when they fell off. But both fall when I put them on for the first time. very disappointing.
