, I finally got the chance to use vinyl and on my first try with my Cricut in "Everyday Vinyl" mode with the default print, it didn't cut all the way through. I managed to remove part of the backing but some of the letters were stretched. I decided to give up and try again and I'm glad I did. I used the same settings but with "harder" pressure and still had to trim it twice but then I was able to pull through easily! I'll keep playing with the settings (I think there are better settings for this vinyl than "everyday vinyl"). Overall this is a good thick vinyl and so far it's working well. I held it at 305 degrees for 15 seconds as recommended on the box. I'll update this post once I get a chance to wear and wash the clothes a few times to see how they hold up.
