Review on Ergon GP3 BioKork Grips Large by Brandon Carraway

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent grips. Very comfortable, made in Germany. Don't buy Chinese copies.

Bought for Brompton folding bike. They are too long and need to be trimmed to fit. I have made a mistake. I trimmed them and then found that I first had to reposition the brake levers to better fit my wider hands. Now I cut off too much and there is a small gap between the end of the grip and the brake lever. live and learn I like the "horns" at the end because they give more hand positions. But I've found that on a folding bike the horns have to stay flush with the ground or the bike won't fold. Since my arm is wider, the horns also keep my hands too close to the brake levers. Without the horns, the fit for my hands would have been slightly better. In general, they are much more comfortable than standard grips. Although they look like cork, they are basically a rubber material mixed with cork. They're a bit pricey and if you don't care about looks I'd save a few bucks and buy the black ones.
