The color is exactly the same as in the photo. A little difficult to assemble. But I could see them okay. 40 minutes alone (woman 63 years old) There are a few important points to note when assembling.1. Simply screw on THREE legs loosely before adding the shelf. You have to wiggle a little. (A Phillips screwdriver is required to attach)2. The shelf is a little frustrating to align the mortise screws - be patient. You will like up.3. Once the shelf is in place, add the 4th table leg. THEN tighten all 4 legs and 4 screws. Be sure to use washers on the legs. After assembly - a very durable and pretty table.
