I had a counter section that needed light. This light is very bright. An extra outlet is useful when using an electric knife or other small devices. Installing with sticky pads, I scraped off all wood residue, wiped and dusted the surface before pressing the panels against the bottom of the cabinet. Lasts about 6 days. Then a page is released. One of the tiny magnets seems to have come loose from the back of the lamp and the other little guys couldn't take the weight. One of the reasons I wanted the glue method to work is because I didn't want to put screws into the wood for fear they would come out and cause problems with the inner bottom shelf. Now I'm waiting for my son who has the tools to install it with screws. Another problem was stretching the cord to the outlet. Although the cable is long enough, it can handle heavy loads, so it doesn't bend well around corners and the excess doesn't twist very easily. I ended up having to use a screed. I had a hard time finding a way to attach it to the cabinet frame due to the diameter of the cord. But I suspect the designers must have had such a long cord because of the outlet on the device. All in all I would buy it again.
