so far so good. I have 3 Brother laser printers of roughly the same model. The only thing I don't understand is that all three Brother printers crumple one end of the #10 envelope when printing, and there's no getting around that? It doesn't crease the end so much that you can't use an envelope, but it's a shame it does. The only other issue I have with this printer is that it has a delicate power plug which if the cord gets tangled can cause the printer to turn off and I have to giggle trying to keep it on. Is it the same with my brother's latest printer of the same type? This is normal unless you hit the cable or move the printer to cause it. Otherwise the power will stay on once I set it up properly. If it weren't for the envelope dispenser and envelope dispenser, this little printer would have earned 5 stars.
