It's the perfect USB flash drive in looks, form factor and build quality. The big hole for the key ring makes it even better. But as many say, the recording speed leaves a lot to be desired. If you're moving small files, it's fast enough. Much faster than 2.0 drives. But when you move large files like 3 or 4GB, they start fast and get slower towards the end. I compared writing the same 4GB file to this drive and a SanDisk drive. SandDisc took 1 minute 55 seconds. This Kingston ride took 2 minutes and 59 seconds, a huge difference! Also, this drive got very hot during transfer. I believe heat issues are causing it to slow down towards the end of the transfer. I have to assume that if you buy a 128 inch USB drive you will be transferring a lot of large files. If so, this might not be the best choice. However, if you store a lot of smaller files, this can help. So in the end, it's just average quality with a big impact on build quality, size, and outer casing.
