Cool looks but poor performance I had high hopes for this headset, it felt sleek and professional and as most of the headsets I've used in this price range really decent sound I think maybe I've met one or two that weren't up to scratch. Unfortunately, this one is one of them. In terms of sound, I was very disappointed that the mids and highs weren't there and were dull. The bass is oversaturated every time I have a blast in a game or quickly switch between background blasts, the sound will crackle and distort. You can tell the settings can be an issue, I'll do it in a while. . The microphone is the same, the voice is muffled, it sounds like you're in a tunnel or hallway with a pillow over your mouth. My teammates had a hard time understanding me and most of the time couldn't understand what I was saying. As for toggling sound control settings, I thought it might be different for music and vocal recording, but it's not. The only time it sounded decent to anyone was when I plugged it into the headphone preamp. Even then it was stressful, I even ran it through the preamp and EQ. And how to tweak the controls drastically to get a decent sound that nobody wants to bother with that much. Yes, I record vocals for my solo project, but this is different and that's why I was able to test different types of equipment and options. The only positive things I can say about this headset are the color options and the design. The headset is quite comfortable. Unfortunately the sound is very weak. I would start again. Start with the circuit board and the speakers because there is something that muffles the sound, which is unfortunate. There may also be an additional equalizer or surround sound control. Many headphones these days have one, although virtual surround sound still sounds amazing. Maybe there was some kind of light in the headphones, it seemed like it should have been, but there was no light. As I said I was really looking forward to this headset which blew my mind mostly unfortunately it just didn't deliver. Not worth the price, terrible sound, cool and comfortable design, but that's about it.
