Thick but not sticky.
This masking tape stuck well while leaving absolutely no residue when I removed it. I've used these rollers for moving so I can color code boxes for movers, and after that I mark Mason Ball jars and other containers with this tape. The jar is easy to take out and reuse because you don't erase the label.
