Review on Multi-functional YNM Reading Pillow: Ideal for Reading and Napping by Jocelyn Hernandez

not fully stitched, too stiff and crowded

I have a YNM weight comforter that I love and was looking for a pillow to use when trying to read in bed so I was itchy it to try it. Unfortunately, that leaves a lot to be desired. The first problem is that when you open it, there is a very strong chemical smell. I was prepared for this as most memory foam items have this problem, but it was more than usual and took almost 3 days to clear. The second problem is the design. . . I'm a 5'11" woman and the proportions don't suit me. When I sit up in bed and lean against the headboard, it's so full it pushes me forward, so I lean awkwardly over the book .I want to recline, I need to rush forward, that is, the lower back has no support and starts to hurt, when I move the pillow forward, it reclines and doesn't fit my shape tight enough and is again uncomfortable The width of the cushion is good, but the armrests are a little low for me, so they do not work as armrests, the side pocket is sewn so low that it is under the armpits, and if I want a magazine or a remote control , I actually have to move away from the pillow and turn it on its side, the cup holder is useless...there's a plastic cup to put in a shaped hole but it's so full no one squeezes even if you ve If you're trying to rearrange the fill, you can paste it. I currently use it to hold my remote control. I appreciate the intent of the rolled pillow/bolster, but it's actually a huge pain. In the folded state, it is too difficult to feel comfortable, in the loose state, you can use a blanket. Finally, there is the issue of design. My pillow arrived with a few seams sewn incorrectly and some seams were completely missed. Anything I need to fix before using it, especially at this price point, is a failure for me.
