Review on 🎨 Ranger Texture Paste Opaque Crackle: Create Stunning Cracked Effects! by Barbara Simmons

As you can see from my drawings, this product creates deep cracks similar to a river bed. At first I was afraid it wouldn't set, but as it dries it gets a lot of texture. It has the approximate texture of a cool whip and is easy to apply. It doesn't level itself, so apply it with a flat tool and smooth out all the points. Minor imperfections in the smoothness of application are desirable, as they create a realistic texture. Full disclosure, before applying I apply a thin coat of Elmer's glue and let it sit for 10 minutes until tacky but not dry. I don't know if it's superstition or really useful but I'm happy with the result anyway. As seen in the attached video, a 3 foot drop onto an uncarpeted surface caused no damage or breakage. In other words, it looks good, doesn't crumble, and costs less than GW products. This will be my go-to miniature lava and desert product for a while.
