At first I really liked this envelope. My daughter broke out of the SwaddleMe diaper which also has velcro so I decided to try this one mainly to give her legs more freedom of movement as it is very carbonated. This diaper seemed reliable at first. Then I washed it and it was never the same. I don't know if my baby suddenly became very strong or the shape of the diaper changed after washing, but the little pads that are supposed to prevent the handles from coming loose don't stop them anymore. Somehow she manages to get her hands out and the velcro is really loud enough to repeat that in the middle of the night without waking her up again. She seems very worried about this too and is dying to get out so it might be time to stop diapering but she is only 4 months old and still has a strong startle reflex. I'm sure this diaper is great for a lot of babies but unfortunately not for us.
